A Hard Day's Night Response

This picture resembles the movie A Hard Day's Night Response because (one of the obvious things) they are both in black and white even though around that time there were many photos and videos in color. Another way they resemble is the scene where they are in a field jumping around before a music video shoot... this clip looks like it could have been taken from that scene.

Reaction to The Diving Bell and the Butterfly

So I’m not too sure as to what exactly I am supposed to type about due to me being absent the day this was assigned but I will try my best… I watched the entire movie and I found it to be very amazing. The camera angles show how this man saw everything though just one eye. Effects of horizontal, vertical, and diagonal movement; haziness; and deferent lighting really help bring out the man’s emotion and mood. To sum it up, the entire movie really describes what it is like to be in a “trapped in your body” experience simply through camera effects.

SSM (image bank assignment)

Photographer Todd Owyoung
I will be selecting pictures from the website ishootshows.com. It is the website of photographer Todd Owyoung. He covers various musical events. I have chosen to do this photographer because I wanted to find a topic I could relate to and he seems to be one of the only professional photographers capturing live concert events. On a skill level I like his angling and his use of the background scenery.
Many of his clients include Fuse TV, Atlantic Records, Universal Music Group, Live Nation, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and Dave Matthews Band. His weapons of choice are Nikon DSLRs, Nikon f/2.8 Lenses, Nikon Primes, and Nikon Speedlight/CLS... so it's basically Nikon all the way

He has covered events from heavy metal like the very popular Mayhem Festival (shown above). He has also covered dance show with known performers Avicii and Steve Aoki (shown below).
